IGLOO ball valves are tested one-by-one against leakage with helium up to 70bar (1,015psi) and during tests conducted in accredited labs our ball valves have resisted up to 300bar (4,350psi)
For the reinforced models we recommend a Maximum Working Pressure MWP of 48bar (700psi) and a Maximum Test Pressure of 70bar (1,015psi); while for the standard models we recommend a Maximum Working Pressure MWP of 45bar (650psi) and a Maximum Test Pressure of 65bar (940psi)
IGLOO ball valves are suitable for all the most common CFC, HCFC and HFC refrigerants such as R22, R134a, R404, R410, R507 and Carbon Dioxide CO2 R744 (sub-critical). Not suitable for ammonia R717
